We are actively looking to secure a Heating Engineer to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to move into District heating from a domestic plumbing or domestic heating background. You will get to experience multiple different District heating schemes and will get hands on experience working with multiple different types of Heat interface Unit (HIU).

The role will be mainly based in London and the surrounding area, there will also be work at sites in other areas of the UK from time to time.

You will be working as part of a team to improve the performance of our district heating sites. The main tasks of the role will be visiting our customers in their homes to perform HIU servicing, HIU upgrades and Radiator balancing.

You may also be required to complete site surveys to help pinpoint areas of interest which will form part of our plans and work packages for each scheme

Key Skills

  • NVQ level 2/3 Plumbing
  • Understanding of domestic heating systems
  • Experience of balancing domestic heating systems
  • Unvented systems
  • Comfortable working as part of a team or on your own
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill
  • Full drivers licence
  • PC literate
