My leading client is looking for a Test Manager with a strong background in the quality assurance of applications to support the growth and success of the company by managing and providing technical leadership to a team of IT testers responsible for validating that IT projects (new or changes to existing) perform to expectations and meet specification requirements;
Key background
- Senior level certification in test management / leadership (e.g. ISTQB Advanced Test Manager)
- Strong background in test strategies and roadmaps to improvement
- Experience and wide understanding of software testing tools for automations, performance, load and APIs, UIs
- Lead large scale testing projects to deliver quality systems.
- Solid experience in setting up and leading testing phases and reporting with MS DevOps
- Experience in defect management and triaging.
- Experience of managing offshore test resources
- Experience of software testing methodologies unit, integration, system, acceptance, performance, security, usability, compatibility
- Technical knowledge of Azure, EDIs/APIs, CRM, finance, scheduling systems, SaaS applications, T-SQL, XML, JSON
- Demonstration a track record of improving a test function
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Good technical problem solving skills
