Who will you be working with?
The Manpower Logistics Team are growing. We're looking for an experienced B2B Sales Leader, ideally from a background in Logistics, recruitment, training or related service industry to Lead our divisional growth, in this new role of Head of Logistics Sales for the UK. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced business development/sales professional to shape and manage the team's proactive sales strategy.
Our unique team creates products/services aimed at tackling some of the most relative challenges we are seeing in the Logistics industry at this pivotal time. Ideally you will have the experience to be part of the product/service development, while taking control of the 'go to market' strategy.
So, what will you be doing?
As the Head of Logistics Sales, you'll be joining an experienced and talented team. You will be tasked with driving and managing the complete 'go to market' process from service branding, lead-sourcing, sales, tendering, presenting, post-sales services and everything in between. As a key member of the Leadership team, you will work closely with the internal functions (marketing, pre sales, communicates, legal, and commercial) to ensure a successful transition; this would also include collaboratively working alongside our regional marketing teams to shape campaigns.
Whether you are managing new client leads; managing a pipeline of contacts; presenting products or maintaining relationships; you will play a pivotal sales role for our team. There is also the expectation that you'll use the client insight and feedback you gather, in order to influence the latter stages of the product development process.
You'll have a huge amount of autonomy in this role and will be fully supported by your team and the wider business to help you succeed.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience managing a full sales lifecycle in a new business B2B sales/BD role (ideally sector related but this can also include experience selling training/ apprentiship/ online courses)
Your sales/BD experience from dealing with large companies or organisations, communicating and closing deals with department heads and executives - high value pursuits
Building strong and lasting relationships with your target clients and partners
Fantastic client management and communication skills - you must be presentable, confident, professional and have gravitas
The ability to contribute to the product/service build and subsequent campaigns across multiple regions
You enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing early-stage company environment and being part of growing a new business
