My leading client is looking for a Head of IT Infrastructure Services and Technology with a strong track record in leading a number of IT functions to deliver live Application and Infrastructure services. The role purpose also includes contributing to the IT strategy, through input, design and eventual delivery of services which will enable my client to evolve and change its IT operating model.
Key areas of responsibility
- IT Strategy Development
- Capability improvement
- Strong Infrastructure Awareness - ITIL / SIAM
- Ensure all product and business event activities are well supported and delivered
- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems to the IT estate and purchase efficient and cost effective technology equipment and software
- Build relationships with vendors and create cost efficient contracts, and then manage them effectively.
- Manage the resource allocation of the IT department to optimise the use of resources
- Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
- Experience of IT outsourcing, cloud technologies and moving IT functions from a fixed to variable cost model.
- Experience in controlling multi million pound IT budgets
