Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Group Data Protection Officer to work for a fast growing dynamic client with offices based in both the UK and a number of European countries. They're moving ahead with a digital transformation programme, further acquisition integration, standardisation, and the removal of legacy systems, a key part is to ensure the company complies with its legal obligations for GDPR and NIS2.
After appropriate training this role will also become the company nominated Data Protection Officer. You will work closely with the Chief Digital Officer, IT Management team and key business stakeholders to ensure legal compliance, best practice and appropriate training is given around all aspects of GDPR & NIS2.
Essential skills:
- DPO working knowledge of GDPR legislation.
- Familiar with the proposed NIS2 framework.
- Experience in working in a regulated environment with high levels of data confidentiality.
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Power BI for reporting
- Willing to travel to European offices
