Role description:

  • Has deep experience in designing the technical architecture (including Enterprise Application Integration Architecture) to address complex business requirements, including design of entire system configurations (hardware, software, and communications, as appropriate).
  • Able to lead a tool evaluation effort, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of tools to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation. Able to work on various platforms, including mainframes, minis and micros. Able to define a total disaster recovery plan and present the Customer with various options.

Responsibilities include:

  • Combining multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions;
  • Providing technical oversight and QA to all project delivery teams;
  • Acting as the first point of contact (outside project team) for all technical issues and problem resolution during project life cycle;
  • Translating technical requirements into resource requirements (estimations) and advising projects on optimal onsite-offshore mixing in the planning phase;
  • Performing analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design client/server open solutions;
  • Understanding various tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage;
  • Contributing to the direction of Customer's current and future programming/systems initiatives;
  • Contributing to the success of mission critical, complex and large system projects/architectures;
  • Conducting independent analysis of and reviewing Customer's technical and business requirement.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong solution architecture background with good experience in AWS and basis understanding of salesforce.
  • Should know how to design and architect serverless solutions, know about design patterns, microservices, good background on the data layer.
  • Someone who can be an individual contributor, drive the solution, talk to the business, understanding what they want and translating those requirements into tangible solution with the enterprise architecture principles in mind.
  • Has to be an excellent communicator because the role has to interface with senior business and IT stakeholders as well as implementation squads. Although no expectation to code, he/she should be still able to guide the delivery squads with the implementation and solve issues where they are stuck.
