Job Title: DV Cleared Senior Planner
Location: Hybrid/Aldermaston
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Rate: Up to £555 per day via an approved umbrella company
Must be willing and eligible to go through the DV Clearance process
Our client, a reputable organisation operating within a high-hazard, highly-regulated environment, is seeking a skilled Senior Planner to join their team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical projects within a secure and dynamic setting.
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct independent assurance reviews on Projects, Programmes, or Portfolios from a Planning & Scheduling perspective.
- Attend all relevant meetings related to assurance reviews.
- Participate in weekly planning meetings with P3M Assurance Management.
- Review documentation and assess compliance with defined standards.
- Collaborate with Project, Programme, or Portfolio teams to agree on recommendations and actions.
- Contribute to the P3M Assurance Assessment Spreadsheet and Assurance Report, providing clear, evidence-based insights.
- Deliver objective feedback, including potentially sensitive messages to senior management.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in delivery within complex projects or programmes, with a proven track record in senior roles.
- Strong expertise in conducting independent reviews and using P6 Primavera schedules.
- Ability to communicate effectively, delivering difficult messages with professionalism.
- Excellent report writing skills, with a focus on clarity and conciseness.
- Experience working in high-hazard environments, ideally within nuclear or defence sectors.
- Knowledge of nuclear regulation and working with government agencies is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in similar environments, with a solid understanding of project assurance processes.
