Key Skills/ requirements
- Proficiency in scripting/programming: Strong skills in languages like Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks. BASH is a must.
- Cloud Platforms: In-depth experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- CI/CD Tools: Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Configuration Management: Experience with tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Containerization: Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
Process and Methodology:
- DevOps Principles: Deep understanding of core DevOps philosophies and practices.
- Deep understanding of automated governance and controls using tools and plugins as part of a pipeline. Pipeline as code.
- Agile Development: Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Ability to manage infrastructure using IaC principles.
- Version Control Expertise: Mastery of Git or similar version control systems.
