Responsible the Applications and Technical in a Desktop Environment - Key Skills will include:

Renowned multinational are seeking the services of a Professional and Challenge Orientated Desktop Applications Analyst to elevate their Desktop function which is platformed toward a Microsoft ideal.
The Desktop & Applications Team provide ownership for the design, development, management, architecture, operation and full lifecycle of all Desktop Infrastructure including: SCCM, AD/GPO/GPP, Citrix, Client Desktop Engineering and Configuration, Client Patching and Desktop AV.
In addition, the Desktop Team also provide "Deep-Dive 3rd Line Support" across a number of "Legally Specific and Office 365 Suite of applications".
Essential Technical Skills required consist of:
- Active Directory engineering skills including OU design, Group Policy Preferences, Group Policy Objects, DHCP, DNS, WINS, Domain Controller Management and Roles Management
- O365 administrative experience and application support
- Use of Microsoft SCCM for Microsoft/3rd Party Patching, Windows OS Desktop / Laptop Image creation, Application delivery
- Scripting expertise, predominantly PowerShell
- Support of Desktop / Laptop security Tools e.g., Anti-virus, Anti-malware, heuristic AV products and VPN technologies
- Working in an ITIL environment following those processes for incident, request and change
- Be highly effective as part of a wider team, and a real team player
- An ability to identify and own technical challenges and lead efforts to overcome these
- Knowledge of project delivery cycles and frameworks Understanding of Quality
