Technical Delivery Lead Job Description
My client has embarked on Finance Transformation journey which incorporates a large-scale S/4 Hana deployment for Finance. We are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead who will directly supervise the delivery of the Build, Test & Cutover activities for this programme as well as playing a significant role in aligning these activities to our Data Migration Team.
Roles & Responsibilities
As an S/4 HANA Technical Delivery Lead, your role involves leading teams and delivering technical, build, test and cutover solutions that support and underpin the business' SAP S/4HANA Programme. The key deliverables are set out below:
Client Relationship and Solution Alignment:
- Build positive relationships with our key partners (TCS and EY) recognising their business priorities and aligning these to our own
- Set up effective governance and day to day engagement models with the Build, Test and Cutover Teams to supervise and manage progress, outcomes and deliverables
Project Management and Collaborative Skills
- Monitor team performance and ensure on-time, quality completion of all deliverables specific to build, test and cutover
- Collaborate effectively across functional workstreams and technical disciplines to achieve these outcomes
Infrastructure and Build Activities
- Manage outcomes and deliverables from
- Stay current on market innovations, methodologies, and tooling.
- Deep-dive into problem areas, develop corrective action plans, and drive resolution.
Testing Activities
- Understand both the functional/process side of SAP and technical development/architecture.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, and other SAP products
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience of working within ERP or other systems implementation projects in the data migration domain.
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and execute project plans, manage project resources, and identify and mitigate project risks.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster collaboration among team members.
- Experience with integration tools and connectors
- Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project or JIRA.
