Data Analytics Specialist / Remote- Sheffield / 6 month contract / £300-£400 per day inside IR35
One of our leading clients in the market are seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to join the team and provide analysis to support decision making across the clients business. Works in business partnership model within the Marketing area
Role: Data Analytics Specialist
Location: Remote / Sheffield
Duration: 6 month contract
Rate: £300-£400 per day
Responsibilities Entail
- Develop self-serve analytics that underpin the roadmap, enabling business stakeholders to make data driven decisions
- Deliver analytics outputs in response to regulatory requests
- Support evaluation and development of performance indicators (KPIs)
- Deliver analytics that present findings and conclusions in a clear, concise fashion
- Use strong SQL skills to deliver the above analytics, compiling data from across the data infrastructure
- Display a good understanding of the business and considers E2E impacts in analysis and recommendations
- Support the business with understanding what measures matter most and areas of risk and opportunity
- Able to provide clear, concise explanations of how analytics have been developed; including the techniques and assumptions applied in transforming different data sources
- Presentation of results and analytics to Senior Stakeholders
- Check accuracy of data sources, identify data integrity challenges and raise to the appropriate team to resolve
- Ensure that a clear brief/understanding of the business question is gathered for analytics requests
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information and data, challenging what is required where appropriate
You should have the following experience
- SQL
- Data visualisation & dashboard creation
- Qualitative/quantitative analysis
- Strong work ethic with particular emphasis on accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness
- Collaborative attitude and an ability to share expertise with colleagues across the business
- Ability to plan, manage, and administer complex projects
