Our client, a leading energy provider in the UK are currently recruiting for a Creative Copywriter to join their dynamic team. This permanent position is suited to individuals who have a creative and proactive approach to problem solving.

Overview
You'll play a key role in establishing a challenger brand in its first year of launch, shaping its creative articulation in collaboration with the Brand Designer and Manager. If you're looking for freedom to make your mark in-house, this role is for you!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Translate the brand positioning into disruptive and engaging copy across all communications, from retention initiatives such as blog editorial content, social, email to digital tactical acquisition campaigns and more
  • Embody the brand tone of voice, challenge its implementation style to maximise engagement and category stand-out by adding your expert craftsmanship
  • Act as guardian of consistent tonal execution by collaborating with other business functions such as in-life communications and third-parties
  • Work alongside designers and content creators to develop content and conceptualise and produce ad-hoc tactical campaigns



Essential Skills and Experience
We're looking a Creative Copywriter with the following experience and skills;

  • Demonstrated creative/advertising copywriting skills
  • Operational and with an ability to coach other in-house writers
  • Proven experience developing brands creatively
  • Demonstrated advertising/creative agency experience
  • Implementing brand TOV with consistency
  • Willingness to challenge towards creative excellence
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with full autonomy
  • Proven experience collaborating with numerous stakeholders
  • Knowledge of social and digital formats and tactics a plus
  • Experience with start-up brand and/or sub-brand beneficial
  • Ability to leverage data to maximise business opportunities is a plus
  • Experience in conceptualising/ideating campaign work is a bonus
  • B2B experience is a plus
