Contract ERP Test Manager - Northern Ireland
This is an exciting contract role working for a client who are undergoing a major ERP transformation. They are seeking an experienced ERP Test Manager to lead the testing strategy for a large‑scale implementation across a complex manufacturing and regulated environment.
The ERP Test Manager will work closely with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, finance, and quality to ensure the ERP solution is robust, compliant, and ready for deployment.
Responsibilities include:
- Own and deliver the ERP test strategy across all phases of the programme
- Define test governance, processes, standards, and risk‑based approaches
- Lead SIT, E2E, data migration testing, UAT, and cutover readiness
- Coordinate test execution across internal teams, SI partners, and third‑party vendors
- Ensure full traceability across requirements, scenarios, and defects
- Implement structured defect management and quality gates
- Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, readiness, and defect trends
Experience required:
- Proven experience as a Test Manager on large‑scale ERP implementations (ideally Infor)
- Background in aerospace, regulated manufacturing, or similar complex environments
- Strong understanding of ERP processes: manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality
- Experience of structured testing methodologies and QA frameworks
- Skilled in managing SI partners and multi‑disciplinary test teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
While Infor ERP experience is ideal, the client will consider candidates with strong test management experience on any major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, MS Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar.
Desirable skills:
- Data migration test experience
- Use of tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA/Xray, HP ALM, Tricentis
- Exposure to automated testing in ERP environments
This role is outside IR35 and requires 3-4 days a week working on-site in Northern Ireland.
