Our client within the telecommunications space is currently searching for a Commercial Specialist to join their team in Birmingham. Within this role, you would be responsibility for owning, designing and improving working processes, managing contract related risks and obligations and ensuring the successful delivery of contract commitment within cost targets.

Job Description:

  • Owns discrete pieces of work within a specific field of responsibility.
  • Designs and improves working processes.
  • Works collaboratively with a group of people and maintains relationships.
  • Manages contractual risks and obligations for mid-sized opportunities.
  • Contributes to structuring development for large, complex opportunities.
  • Provides information for negotiations and conducts ongoing negotiations during contract management.
  • Ensures successful delivery of contract commitments within cost targets, contract profit, and revenue growth.
  • Accountable for delivering against contractual service level agreements.

Experience Required:

  • Contract Management: Proficiency in managing contracts, understanding contractual terms, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively during contract discussions and ongoing management.
  • Project Management: Experience in structuring and delivering components of commercial opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Understanding and mitigating contractual risks and obligations.
  • Process Improvement: Capability to design and enhance working processes.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Familiarity with cost targets, contract profit, and revenue growth.
