My client is a fast-growing E-Commerce start-up. With their first round of investment under their belt they have good foundations to begin scaling the team to support the next stage of growth. The next crucial hire is a CFO - the first hire in finance to set up the procedures and processes, ensuring efficiency within the Finance function with a view to then expand the team. Due to the size of the business this is an all rounder role and you will have a lot of input into strategic and commercial matters, working closely with the CEO and Private Equity investors to drive the business through impressive growth.
Responsibilities:
Business partner with CEO to achieve business plan
Investor relations, due diligence and board presentations
Investment appraisal and research and development cost analysis
Building plans for international expansion
Autonomous control of the finance function - setting up from scratch
Experience needed:
Growing a people-based business both organically and through M&A
Experience of investor relations
Led businesses through multiple fundraises
Notable experience in growing a business internationally
Start-up/SME experience
