Business Analyst - Metadata
Location: Osterley (currently working from home)
We are actively looking to secure a Business Analyst to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own analysis work packages that improve Metadata processes, systems and enable transformation
  • Work hand in hand with the Metadata Product Owner and the wider Group Metadata team
  • Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and in all departments to ensure that the business needs are met, any solution is fit for purpose and that operational areas are prepared
  • Sync up business, system and supplier requirements
  • Defining delta business requirements of future systems, tooling and ways of working
  • Collate & document As-Is processes and help to define the To-Be
  • Defining user stories based on business requirements
  • Documenting processes, requirements, changes and specs
  • Support user acceptance testing and defect resolution
  • Implementation and launch management of new systems and propositions
  • Working close with the Product Owner, Technology teams and SMEs
  • Support the Product Owner with supplier negotiations where required
  • System training, monitoring, adoption


Required Skills

  • Education: Degree desirable
  • Experienced professional, ideally with prior knowledge of Metadata, content supply chains
  • Experience of project lifecycles and transition into operational support and management & working with Agile methodology
  • Possesses a robust BA toolkit/skillset
  • Adept at documenting complex operational workflows; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keen to challenge the status quo and creative in finding the best solutions for the client Group
  • Motivated & committed; ability to work within a global team, under pressure and with high resilience
  • Self-sufficient and organised, flexible, ability to prioritise appropriately and work to tight timescales, ability to make decisions at short notice and use creative judgement when necessary
