Business Analyst
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Hybrid / London
Clearance: BPSS required
Residency: Minimum 5 years UK residency
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements across complex business processes
Translate business needs into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria
Create and maintain feature roadmaps and product backlogs to support Agile delivery
Work closely with architects, developers, and testers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements
Actively engage stakeholders through face-to-face, remote, and mobile communication to resolve issues quickly
Support delivery teams by establishing a clear path to delivery, breaking down epics into manageable stories
Ensure requirements align with programme objectives, regulatory needs, and delivery constraints
Must-Have Skills & Experience
BPSS clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum 5 years UK residency
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within large, complex programmes
Strong track record of producing highly testable acceptance criteria
Experience working in Agile environments, including:
Writing user stories
Managing backlogs
Developing feature roadmaps
Ability to confidently bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable driving clarity in fast-moving environments
Nice-to-Have
Experience working on government or public sector programmes
Exposure to customs, trade, tax, or large-scale transactional systems
Experience operating in high-volume, highly regulated environments
