Hybrid: X2 days in the office; X3 working remotely

About the Project

The ICE (IT Compliance Engine) project is building a compliance transparency platform for control owners and development teams to view their compliance with a range of software development controls.

The product is both completing its initial scope aligned to the vision as well as maturing existing controls on ICE. The ICE product is core to a number of controls and their processes and is interconnected with several other systems within the client.

Required:

  • Good communicator at all levels, with excellent interpersonal skills and desire to fully participate in the team
  • Investigative mind-set; open to experiment with new ideas and proposals
  • Pro-active self-starting person that can seek out information and solutions and present them back to others
  • Strong analysis and/or system analysis skills to be able to understand and visualise links between different tools
  • Translates ideas into concrete work activities
  • Collaborative person that can resolve problems for the team
  • Well grounded in the software delivery life cycle ideally across multiple technology domains and approaches
  • Experience working with APIs and or API development teams
  • Experienced with documenting functional specifications (agile stories and acceptance criteria), process flow diagrams

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Use your pro-active and inquisitive problem solving skills to use a combination of the below to support our aims:

  • Be a Scrum Master for one pod team of 4-6 developers and QA.
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies for the team, visualise work, support prioritisation and help the team to continually improve
  • Resolve blockers for the team and pro-actively solve problems that are stopping flow
  • Perform detailed analysis (data, systems and interfaces).
  • Elicit requirements into detailed functional requirements, systems processes and designs seeking efficient and effective solutions to business problems.
  • Identify, gather and documents both functional and non-functional requirements into stores with acceptance criteria
  • Handovers, presentations and knowledge transfer
  • Excellent analytical skills

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE

  • Exposure and success working within a matrix organization model
  • Experience in working within an global organisation and globally distributed development teams
  • Experience of being a scrum master for one of more agile teams within a software development environment
  • Capturing explicit and implicit requirements and defining appropriate solutions, in combination with users, sponsors and the wider Technology department;
  • Analysing systems and user impact in partnership with engineers and business stakeholders
  • Contributes to improvements through innovative solutions, approaches, products or services.
  • Communicates ideas, views, and concerns effectively and respectfully
  • Ability to develop effective networks by seeking out opportunities for collaboration
