Bilingual IT Service Desk Agent (German & English)


Bilingual IT Service Desk Agent (German & English) is required by a global Intelligence and National Security, Science and Technology organisation who are looking for a Bilingual IT Service Desk Agent (German & English) to join them on a permanent basis in their Farnborough office.


As the IT Service Desk Agent, you will be providing support to German and English customers, providing support on all IT-supported software and hardware and mobile communications. Responsible for the management, order and distribution of software, hardware and mobile devices and also for ensuring a high level of customer service for service requests. Requests will be received via phone, email or in person.

Essential Skills for the Bilingual IT Service Desk Agent (German & English):

  • Eligible for SC clearance
  • Fluent in German and English, to a technical level
  • Previous experience of working in a busy German speaking Service Desk environment
  • Hold or be working towards CompTIA A+ qualification
  • Support experience of Win 10 & iOS Operating Systems, Office 365 and Microsoft Office 2016
  • Experience of working to defined service levels
  • Strong customer service skills both via telephone and face to face
  • IT knowledge
  • Knowledge of ITIL



Desirable Skills for the Bilingual IT Service Desk Agent (German & English):

  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Understand Networking
  • ITIL Foundation V4 certification
