Role purpose / summary
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather cloud onboarding requirements (migration, transformation, greenfield…), and assist though adoption journey
- Help build cloud governance, monitoring and operating models for in-production workloads
- Provide architectural support and leadership to the Solution team for developing their Solutions on the Azure Platform.
- Whiteboard architecture reviews, write technical collateral and help build reusable artifacts for the organisation
- Work closely with Solution Teams, end-users, operations, and security to ensure requirements are captured in the architecture design
- Map Solution requirements to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services by converting technical requirements of a project into architecture and design on path to finished products
- Participate in providing technology assessments in support of automation and technology migration initiatives
- Provide innovative methodologies to identify and solve development, migration, performance, scalability, reliability, and availability issues on cloud, both IaaS and PaaS
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience in one or more of the following: Azure cloud solution designing & architecture, networking, container services, coding/development using MS or opensource stack (C#, VB.Net), Azure Compute/Storage/Data Services, DevOps tools (Azure DevOps or Jira
- Experience with Azure services that facilitate applications integration: Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions
- Experience with Enterprise data handling and Data integration using Azure
- One or more of relevant cloud certifications from Microsoft (e.g., AZ104 + AZ 303/304/ or 305, DP 203/204
