Job Title: Automation Assurance Analyst
Locations: London, Cheltenham, or Manchester

Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to have DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum will be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

What you'll do:

  • Analyse requirements and design documentation to define, build and execute detailed manual and/or automated test cases for infrastructure, networks, and applications.
  • Work closely with developers and other technical stakeholders to clearly communicate test issues, with the aim of resolving issues as quickly as possible.
  • Have input into the test planning process including formal test documentation.
  • Use both manual and automated testing solutions and provide ongoing support to team members

What you'll bring:

  • Knowledge of software methodologies including Waterfall/V model, Agile, Lean, DevOps
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of having input into high quality Test Documentation, Test Reports and Management Information
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of test case creation, execution and reporting using solid testing principles
  • Degree level education or significant experience of technical delivery
  • A working knowledge of the full SDLC and Systems Engineering practices from requirements/user story capture and decomposition through to integration, acceptance, traceability, and customer sign off and associated toolsets.
  • Attention to detail to ensure requirements are correctly mapped onto detailed test cases.
  • Test execution of infrastructure, networks, and applications through the use of test frameworks and evaluating features in order to manage the creation of complex tests.

You may also have:

  • Have knowledge of Security solutions or delivered a security project
  • Have Security Clearance at DV level
