Automation & Integration Engineer (Power Automate / Power Platform)

Location: London 1 day a month in office

We're looking for an experienced Automation & Integration Engineer to design, build, and scale automation, integration, analytics, and sustainability reporting across our Digital Workplace portfolio.

This role is central to delivering a modern, automated, insight‑driven, and sustainable Digital Workplace, using the Microsoft Power Platform, APIs, and enterprise integrations. You'll work closely with Endpoint, Identity, DEX, Operations, and Pre‑Sales teams to create secure, reusable, and productised automation assets at scale.

⚙️ What You'll Do

Automation & Workflow Engineering

  • Design and build workflows using Power Automate, Logic Apps, and (where applicable) Azure Functions.
  • Create reusable automation patterns for joiner/mover/leaver processes, device lifecycle, and identity workflows.
  • Build custom connectors, API authentication models, and automation catalogues for reuse across products.

Systems Integration & APIs

  • Integrate Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, ServiceNow, and HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Build REST and Microsoft Graph API integrations using event‑driven and webhook‑based architectures.
  • Engineer resilient workflows with transformation, error handling, and monitoring.

Data, Analytics & Reporting

  • Design data models across identity, device, DEX, HRIS, and automation datasets.
  • Build Power BI dashboards for automation performance, lifecycle tracking, operational KPIs, and XLAs.
  • Enable analytics pipelines that support operational insight and service optimisation.

Sustainability & ESG Automation

  • Engineer analytics for device lifecycle carbon impact, logistics emissions, reuse, and WEEE reporting.
  • Build dashboards for sustainability KPIs across Digital Workplace services.
  • Automate ESG data collection across endpoint, asset, and service workflows.

Governance, Security & Standards

  • Implement Power Platform governance, DLP policies, connector controls, and monitoring.
  • Ensure automations follow secure‑by‑design, least‑privilege, and compliance standards.
  • Produce high‑quality technical documentation, standards, and integration patterns.

🎯 What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Power Automate and Logic Apps.
  • Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON, Graph API, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, ServiceNow, and HRIS systems.
  • Proven ability to design data models and build Power BI dashboards.
  • Strong engineering mindset with focus on reusable, scalable automation.
  • Interest in sustainability, ESG reporting, and analytics‑driven decision making.
  • Experience in an MSP or large enterprise environment (preferred).
  • Excellent documentation and standardisation skills.
