Agile Project Manager

Location: London (remote with 1 to 4 days travel to site a month)

We are actively looking to secure an Agile Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

The Role

The Senior Project Manager will join a large team working with a major UK banking client, work on clients LPM design that's currently in place and be the expert in the central team for other teams to come to for advice/guidance.

Some travel to Client sites will be required to support collaborative working, however most tasks will be performed by remote working.

Responsibilities

  • Support the client teams as they transition to Agile based BAU and provide guidance on how to embed LPM practices into their BAU delivery cadence
  • Work with both business and tech stakeholders to land LPM principles and roll out intervention measures where necessary to obtain buy-in for the adoption
  • Provide support to the tooling team to ensure tooling changes are in line with the LPM principles and ways of working
  • Coordinate with Business / Leads and equivalent senior stakeholders on asks / expectations/prioritizations.

Key Skills

  • Keep Kanban boards, Scrums, Confluence, and Jira applications to reflect the latest roadmap-status.
  • Strong communicator - can hold their own in front of challenging stakeholders
  • Strong Agile skills - should have played Agile PM / Scrum Master / coach role
  • Hands-on experience on Clarity, Rally, and Jira would be a definite advantage.
  • Strong acumen to play a devil's advocate during discussions with stakeholders (when to agree / when to push-back).
  • Good communication, both verbal and written, with a high level of confidence
