A client require an experienced Accessibility Consultant to join in delivering new Services as part of their ongoing programme of change and transformation
Role: Accessibility Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 month contract
Rate: £500-£600 per day
Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- They should be experienced in operating in a complex multi vendor environment
- Making recommendations to avoid or resolve accessibility issues, and contribute to the development of policies and standards
- Understanding and explaining the ways people with access requirements, need to use services and things that help/hinder them
- Interpreting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0/1
- Creating and executing plans for testing services for compliance with accessibility standards, plus consideration of wider equality requirements
- Applying a thorough knowledge of assistive hardware/software and activities related to accessibility testing
- Writing and communicating in a clear and simple way"
