Our Government client based in London are currently recruiting a 2nd Line Engineer. The successful candidate will be accountable for ongoing support of all business applications and smooth running of all essential systems.
The client is based in Central London and they are looking for the successful candidate to be present in the office 2 to 3 days per working week.
You must either have active SC Clearance, or be willing to go through SC Clearance.
Skills/Experience
- Experienced in 1st and 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineering
- Nice to have: Qualified / Certified in SCCM/SCOM 2012
- Nice to have: Qualified / Certified MCSE
- Nice to have: ITIL qualified to Foundation Level
- Manage systems security in accordance with ICT Security Standard (IS027001)
- Very strong customer focus & ability to build rapport with clients as well as peers
- Confidence and presence to deal with outsourcing, customers, suppliers and colleagues at junior and higher level
- Able to work under pressure and perform as a Leader, work to get an excellent understanding of business requirements
- Ability to define and meet deadlines and targets set as Business Analysis, well versed with reporting, documentation and full project lifecycle
- Experience of working to tight SLA/OLA's and deadlines
