Transition Co-Ordinator

Contract - 6 Months

Sunbury

Up to £400 per day

This project role will support the transition of activities into the planned new GBS captive centre in India. It will drive and facilitate preparations for the transitions, support the project managers and GBS Function with coordination across the GBS Functional organisations and to define the most effective work allocation in the teams in the new centre.

Transition

  • Work with the GBS function, GBS Global Transitions and the BPO partner to develop the detailed transition plans

  • Support the GBS function to define the sequence of transitions

  • Identify and manage dependencies

  • Manage and coordinate due diligence

  • Support development of the activity to role allocation and identify transformation opportunities

  • Be the point of contact between IT&S and GBS Function for the migration of BPO tools and applications

  • Work with the GBS Function to identify the required support resources

  • Identify risks and propose and manage mitigation

  • Manage change through ongoing stakeholder management and deploying the programme communication strategy

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders

  • Work with virtual teams across multiple geographies to deliver the projects on time and within budget

  • Develop progress reports, proposals, document decisions, develop and deliver presentations to senior management as required

  • Manage project dependencies and critical path

  • Support the identification and resolution of issues and conflicts within the respective area, put in place corrective actions

  • Manage external / 3rd party vendors in conjunction with the work-stream if applicable

  • Ensure alignment on expectations within the project/stream team

Change Management

  • Champion project management disciplines

  • Work with the Change Management workstream lead to support the implementation of the change agenda as regards the specific GBS Function

  • Highly complex programme/project across multiple geographic locations

  • Highly diversified range of key stakeholders including senior management level

  • High degree of ambiguity resulting in changes to scope, time and resources

  • Management of competing projects and priorities

Essential Experience

  • Project Management - particularly in the context of Business Change

  • Change Management and continuous improvement

  • Working with multiple teams and capabilities to deliver complex project scope

  • Management of multiple stakeholders incl 3rd parties

  • Working with virtual teams across multiple geographies

  • Understanding of PMO processes

  • Working in fast-paced, high-demand, delivery-oriented environments

  • Project management tools and applications (e.g. Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel etc.).

  • High degree of personal impact

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer impacts

  • Organisational transformation projects
