Programme Overview

Our client are in the process of undergoing an HR Transformation in a number of areas. This includes strategy shaping through new target operating model, Service delivery and technology consolidation.

Our client are looking for a Test PMO Lead to support a major transformation programme across on a Global scale in multiple territories.

The HR Transformation Programme will ensure the new strategy is developed into a programme of change involving process, people and technology.

The Technology of choice is Workday involving implementation of core HCM data supplemented by a number of modules covering the Hire to Retire processes.

Role Overview

The Test PMO will support the Test and Data Lead, working alongside other members from the Programme Management team as well as the Test workstream to track the status of the testing deliverables and milestones, risk and issue management, support with escalations and coordination of regular reporting, coordination of project governance arrangements as well as supporting the development and roll out of Testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support compiling the various weekly status reporting packs
  • Following testing principles and PMO processes
  • Supporting the Test and Data Lead with the management of programme control documents, such as risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID), testing deliverables, testing plan updates and action tracking.
  • Supporting the Test and Data Lead engage critical project resource and manage this through to completion.
  • Primary point of contact for Testing workstream
  • Ensuring weekly meetings are scheduled and include relevant details, such as locations information and agendas
  • Ensuring all PMO documents are up-to-date and located correctly in project collaboration system
  • Supporting the relationship management with the data and testing vendor.
  • Keeping tracking documents up-to-date.
  • Support the Functional Team with status reporting, documents and deliverable tracking

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to work as part of a tightly integrated team
  • A keen eye for detail and keeping documents up-to-date
  • Knowledge and experience of Testing PMO processes, documents and tools
  • Ability to quickly develop good internal relationships
  • Ability to recognise, prioritise and manage conflicting priorities and manage expectations of multiple stakeholder
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organisation
  • Willingness to take initiative and ownership of tasks and be accountable for your deliverables
  • Exceptional ability to work within a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent Excel skills

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • Some experience in project management or diary management.
  • Project or programme management certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP would be desirable
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Workday experience would be desirable
