Technical Writer - Defence
Location: Remote
Rate: €65-70ph
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
We require an experienced Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation for a Military organisation. The individual will work with internal teams on product/documentation requirements and create end-user material such as tutorials, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills
- Excellent IT technical writing and communication skills, ideally with 5+ years' experience as a Technical Writer
- Practical experience in working with Microsoft Office (spreadsheet, word processor and visualization) tools
- Practical experience in working with Microsoft Visio
- Practical experience in working with Microsoft SharePoint to manage document repositories, configurations and content.
- Experience in using Enterprise Architecture tools
- Good knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructures, Microsoft 365 and cloud computing technologies.
- Good knowledge of CIS Security and accreditation processes
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts in standards/product descriptions/manuals and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
