Job Specification
The role is positioned with Group Supply Chain & Procurement, Manufacturing & Disruptive Technologies area with responsibility for leading procurement activities and developing supply chain solutions on behalf of our Integrated Delivery Teams; working closely with internal project teams, external suppliers and partners.
Key Accountabilities
The Supply Chain Manager will closely liaise with the programme team for the assigned product portfolio
The Supply Chain Manager will conduct initial view of Supply market, examine opportunity vs risks, conduct Route to Market analysis, conduct Supplier due diligences, conduct supply chain assurance and prepare supplier readiness plan, form Make Vs Buy strategy,develop potential supply partners profile, develop sourcing strategy, Initiate RFQ, and down select potential suppliers etc.
The Supply Chain Manager will support the Programme Manager and the BD commercial team with all formal Pre-Bid Procurement activities in line with the GSC&P Service Lines.
The role shall provide end to end Supply Chain advice, raw material sourcing, supply assurance, delivery, supply chain management and procurement against requirements.
In contract supplier management
Efficient & effective day to day management of supply chain in support of Customer bidding and programmes
The Supply Chain Manager will develop supply chain network map, develop supplier readiness plan and de-risk supply chain risks, develop negotiation plan, flow down customer requirements, place contracts, on-boarding suppliers, and execute supply chain delivery plan, etc.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for all post-contract SRM activities.
