What you'll do
Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of Sourcing process and Global Supply Chain development projects related to supplier forecasting, fulfilment, ERP purchasing set up, and supplier financial transactions, including implementation of the Supplier Risk Management Program with the aim to deploy standard work across the organisation. Make sure governance practices and project management practices are followed and improved as needed.
Collaborate with business and functional leadership to define projects and initiatives within the given scope
Define execution plans and approaches based on project scope, expected timeline and available resources
Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge and build project teams
Work with the globally located technical team, which will often comprise of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan
Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
Support the team with resolution of roadblocks and inter-dependencies. Partner with functional teams to ensure their tasks are completed as required
Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
Lead and operationally support implementation of the Supplier Risk Management Program including deployment of internal processes and digital solutions for the relevant business areas
Cooperate with external suppliers and service providers as required
Ensure stakeholder communication and progress reporting
Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching expectations
Who you are
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical discipline, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years' work experience in sourcing or procurement.
3 years' work experience with technical depth/knowledge in assigned commodities, or 3 years of Commercial Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering experience
Prior experience in communicating with external suppliers globally
Experience with data analysis and visualization
Experience managing projects with the supply chain and manufacturing functions
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
Experience working with others on a global basis
Demonstrated internal/external customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve them, and creates actionable strategies and operational plans
Change oriented - actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
DBS experience a plus
Smartsheet, QlikSense / QlikView, MS Project knowledge a plus
PMP or related project management certifications a plus
