Responsibilities
- Review, interpret and respond to Business Requirements Specifications as well as the functional and non-functional specifications, to ensure alignment between business expectations and current or future IT capability
- Apply architectural principles and concepts to design and document solutions that meet business requirements considering scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, flexibility, availability manageability and re-usability.
- Creating solution prototypes
- Provide guidance on the structure/skills needed in the delivery team
- Approve major feature pull requests
- Supporting Infrastructure design/installation
- Help plan and guide production releases by closely coordinating with the Product Owner and Engineering Lead
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience
- Experience in either - IT architecture, infrastructure and cloud development. Engineering and software architecture design Business analysis. DevOps or Project and product management
Skills:
- Understanding of agile and waterfall methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
- CI/CD Pipeline and DevOps
- Java/Object Oriented programming
- Event Driven Architecture
- Microservice architecture and patterns
- Spring Boot/Cloud/Container technology
- Object Oriented programming
- Relational and NoSQL databases
- Integration technologies
- Working knowledge of SPARX EA Architect
