London/Hybrid - 2 days in office per week

Project commentary:

  • Implementing a production CMDB
  • Extending discovery of the IT Estate into lower environments and cloud DCs
  • Integrating ServiceNow with critical upstream systems including Mprove to provide traceability of business service to application service
  • Optimising the ServiceNow platform to ensure the bank's significant investment is maximised

Essential skills/ experience:

  • This role requires a strong and hands-on ServiceNow Platform Architect who can provide technical expertise against requirements considering the platform's architecture, capabilities, and best practices with a core specialism in CMDB design and implementation. This includes the production of good quality technical documentation to support internal governance processes as well as development teams/partners in line with ServiceNow's Implementation best practices.
  • This role will work as part of a team tasked with maturing and extending the bank's ServiceNow platform and will interact with senior business and technical stakeholders across the organisation.

Technical Requirements

  • Demonstrate significant experience in multiple and complex ServiceNow implementations with proven exposure to a variety of ServiceNow products ideally beyond ITSM/ITOM, e.g. APM.
  • Hold relevant and current ServiceNow certifications (e.g.: CMA, CTA, CSA, Implementation Specialist etc.).
  • In depth knowledge of integrations between ServiceNow and multiple system of records.
  • Expert knowledge around integrations (Integration Hub or custom - REST/API etc.) expected.
  • Ability to provide technical governance and design leadership across multiple areas of the ServiceNow platform, including: functionality, data modelling (CSDM) , developer APIs, development tools etc.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining architectural roadmaps ensuring a balance between product features and the platform's health is maintained.
  • Excellent communication skills as leading stakeholder workshops and meetings will be mandatory (including System Integrator experience) as well as offering guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment.
  • Ability to support and coach developers and administrators as required. Serve as a point of escalation on critical and complex incident troubleshooting.
  • Core understanding of Agile Methodology and ITIL based processes
