Job Title: Service Transition Manager
Duration: 2 Months
Location: Hybrid - 3days per week onsite at either Bristol, Nottingham or Swansea
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
Rate: £500 per day - PAYE via Umbrella only
Role Overview
An excellent opportunity to join a major account as a Service Transition Manager and join a developing Service Design and Introduction Team that sits in the Service Integrator tower. It is a key role of introducing new projects to service in line with the agreed Service Design and the Service Acceptance process.
The Service Transition Manager will engage with the Service Designer, the Service Introduction Manager and service SMEs to ensure the requirements of both the project and the new service are implemented in the Production environment prior to go live of the service. The role provides an excellent opportunity to progress into Service Introduction as well as Service Design and utilise your ITIL knowledge and experience.
To be considered for this contract you MUST be a Sole UK National and hold Active SC Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that tooling updates are requested relating to areas such as Service Offerings, Service Catalogue items which drive various service lines requirements.
- Ensure that Knowledge Information is received from the Project Manager or SMEs to populate both internal & externally facing articles.
- Ensure any Virtual Agent conversations are prepared, request and made live at appropriate timescales.
- Ensure relevant resolver/assignment groups are created or updated to reflect teams and interaction method. Back-end ServiceNow or Interactive Email.
- Ensure on boarding briefs are held with new suppliers to detail expectations and processes.
- Ensure any reporting requirements for the ELS period are defined and created.
- Ensure Go Live RFC is raised via the BAU Change Management Process.
- Ensure all Service Risks are transferred to the BAU Risk Management process in ServiceNow.
- Ensures SV&T is completed in relation to pre-defined Test Plans, this will be conducted alongside the relevant SME's.
Your skills and experience
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Service Management.
- Qualification in ITIL V3 or V4 strongly desired.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and Service Validation and Testing or Service Management Acceptance testing an advantage.
