Senior Software Developer (Java, Microservices, AWS)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: London, WFH initially
Salary: £660 max - IR35: Inside

A senior software developer is required for a new agile team delivering exciting end user digital services in accordance with the GDS Agile methodology.
Experience
You must have demonstratable experience in the following areas:
* Define technical architectures which adhere to the 12-Factor application methodology
* Client-side design and implementation
* Server-side API design and implementation
* Design and implement de-coupled web applications which can scale horizontally.
* High levels of test coverage and continuous integration practices
* Work as part of a large scale Agile product centric team
Technical
You must be able to demonstrate experience in the following technologies and techniques:
o Node.js
o React
o JavaScript - ES6
o Java 8/11
o Spring Boot microservices
o Camunda
o REST API development
o Unit Testing frameworks
o Postgresql
o Elastic Search
o Git
o Docker, Kubernetes
o AWS
