Senior React Expert / TypeScript Developer with 3+ years commercial Software Engineering experience sought by a well-backed, world-class FinTech business building a best-in-class, multi-asset class SaaS Trading platform.
Our client is a 100+ person business boasting industry experts and leaders in Investment Management, Trading Analytics and Technology. They are now starting to build-out a brand-new Frontend team so require multiple Frontend Developers with expertise in Javascript along with skills in Redux and TypeScript.
This job openings represent an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business with institutional backing and a proven track- record in delivering a suite of financial services to a market-leading standard. As a member of this distributed team you will be responsible for the design and build of critical components, as well as collaborating with Backend Developers and Quantitative Analysts to design a rich API.
Requirements
Expert usage of React plus experience with Redux and TypeScript.
Excellent knowledge of coding fundamentals e.g. modern software design principles, data structures, algorithms
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a professional Software Engineer.
Stable career history - able to demonstrate building a product or platform over the course of a number of years.
Strong academic record - 1st/2.1 or international equivalent from a top University Ideally in Computer Science, alternatively Engineering, Maths or Physics all relevant.
Extensive usage of Unit Testing plus familiarity with CI/CD approaches.
Experience of agile practices - ideally Scrum and Kanban.
Bonus points
Financial Markets knowledge, ideally across a range of Asset Classes and Traded Products.
AWS (or Azure / GCP) and/or Docker.
Jest, SASS, and/or Redux Thunks.
C#, .Net Core and/or C++.
