Senior Project Manager - Must have a valid DV Clearance
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will work across major projects that deliver meaningful change. You'll collaborate with teams, customers, and technical specialists to lead delivery across a diverse project portfolio. This role offers the chance to be at the centre of strategic initiatives within the Defence and National Security space.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define project requirements and gain formal agreement from key stakeholders and governance boards
* Lead project delivery from initiation through to transition and handover to service operations
* Manage end-to-end project delivery in collaboration with both customer and internal business teams
* Operate within established project management methodologies and ensure compliance with agreed processes
* Oversee project reporting through KPIs, highlight reports, and stage assessments
* Lead risk and issue management, ensuring contingency and mitigation plans are in place and approved
* Maintain rigorous financial tracking across multiple projects and ensure accurate forecasting
* Ensure project activities are reflected in profit and loss impact, with clear governance oversight
* Achieve timely milestone sign-offs and support finance teams in triggering invoicing milestones
* Support and guide team members, driving progress through clear communication and structured reporting
* Apply formal review and assurance practices to validate delivery outcomes
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience delivering Transition and Transformation projects, preferably in Defence or National Security sectors
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders
* A structured, disciplined approach to project delivery, with the ability to adapt to complex environments
* Deep understanding of financial governance, profit & loss, risk management, and formal delivery assurance
* Strong capability in managing cross-functional teams and bringing structure to high-pressure situations
* Hands-on experience with reporting tools and project management systems
