Reward and Benefits Specialist

Salary: Starting at £36,000 - £40,000 plus strong benefits

29.6 Hours a week (flexible on structure)

Location: Nottingham or Coventry based, with remote hybrid working

My client is looking for a part time benefits specialist to help shape the market leading benefits of an international energy supplier as they continue to grow. This role would have a strategic impact on candidate and colleague journeys through the benefit and reward process. You will own the year round benefit engagement, contracting third party providers as well as working on complex business wide projects such as pay review, bonus calculation and performance management.

You will be joining a small reward and benefit team working out of Nottingham and Coventry offices, as they continue endeavouring to make a positive impact on their colleagues lives and careers. Reward experience is essential, but the team are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. If you have a reward analyst, reward advisor or a more general human resources role and have an analytical mindset, a proactive approach and are looking for a varied role, this may be an excellent fit.

Essential Requirements

  • Reward experience
  • HR, comms, marketing or contract management experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with customers and colleagues
  • Analytical approach, comfortable with Excel
  • Exposure to a project management environment

Desirable Experience

  • IT proficient with advanced skills in Word, Excel, Project etc
  • Experience of working on flexible benefits platforms
  • CIPD Qualified
  • HR IT system integration knowledge such as SAP, workday, payroll processes

Daily Responsibilities

  • Ensure benefits are inclusive, relevant and valuable to the colleagues and the business
  • Review and improve the benefits journey for employees
  • Recommend opportunities to digitise all reward processes
  • Support pay negotiations including keeping up to date with market rates
  • Plan for and project manage performance related pay reviews, bonus calculations, and performance based benefit increases
