Role - Resilience Delivery Lead
Location - Manchester or Glasgow
On-site Requirements - 3 days per week
Rate - £550 per day - PAYE via Umbrella
End Date - 31st December
Role Summary:
The Resilience Delivery Lead will be responsible for embedding risk-aware business process design into the organisation's resilience framework. This role focuses on aligning Business Service Response Plans (BSRPs) and resilience practices with broader risk management frameworks, ensuring that resilience is not only a compliance requirement but a strategic capability. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial services, risk lifecycle management, and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk-Integrated Resilience Planning:
Lead the integration of resilience requirements into enterprise risk management processes, ensuring that BSRPs and related controls are embedded into the risk lifecycle-from identification and mitigation to monitoring and reporting. - Business Process Design:
Design and optimise business processes that support resilience objectives, including the creation, invocation, monitoring, and exit of BSRPs during both BAU and crisis scenarios. - Framework Alignment:
Map resilience activities to existing risk management frameworks (e.g., RIO logs, RAYG status, contingency planning) to ensure consistency, traceability, and audit readiness - Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with risk managers, business service owners, and delivery leads to ensure resilience is embedded in operational routines and governance structures. - Governance & Reporting:
Provide oversight and reporting on resilience delivery progress, risk posture, and control effectiveness to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity within financial services.
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks, including risk identification, mitigation planning, contingency management, and lifecycle governance
- Expertise in business process design and optimisation, particularly in regulated environments.
- Ability to translate resilience requirements into actionable delivery plans and controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
