Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager to work in automotive feature development to help lead the planning and prioritisation of feature development in an automotive setting. The ideal candidate may have an understanding of systems engineering, have automotive project management experience, or be able to use management tools such as; JIRA. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage the sign-off and progress of the automotive features, ensuring all stakeholders are considered and happy

Job Description:

  • Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of automotive features from concept to implementation. Ensure that each feature is signed off by relevant stakeholders, quality standards are met, and timeline objectives considered.
  • Work closely with the feature engineers to help them prioritise and review their work with relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders regarding feature development. Provide regular project updates, communicate risks, and ensure that stakeholder expectations are met throughout the development cycle.
  • Proactively identify potential risks to project timelines or scope, and develop mitigation strategies. Support the resolution of issues and roadblocks that may impact feature development, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Work to improve the efficiency of the project management practices. Suggest improvements to workflows, and cross-functional collaboration methods to enhance project outcomes.
  • Use JIRA to manage project tasks, track progress, and resolve any issues or roadblocks.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in managing projects or certification in project management.
  • Experience with managing project tasks and tracking progress.
  • Organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Engineering projects.
