As a Programme Manager you'll be responsible for the overall leadership and delivery of projects requiring significant effort in business and technology processes and systems resulting in transformational change. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery management for a set of related initiatives as defined by our business and portfolio framework.
The purpose of this role is to deliver programme initiatives with direct team responsibility in the region of 5 - 20 colleagues, between 3-25 internal teams and multiple third party suppliers that will support operational efficiencies and business growth opportunities with an annual strategic investment of between £1m-£10m. With stakeholder engagement up to Managing Director level.
- Manage and drive articulation of requirements from a business and technical perspective
- Be the primary point of contact to the stakeholders for engagements under your management
- Provide input with solutioning proposal including design and associated costing
- Be at the forefront of interactions with clients to obtain requirements, impact assignments, create BRD's, design solutions, collaborate with various teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Work as a team or individually for the product enhancements on the deliverables.
- Proactively should run the complete flow from requirement gathering to delivery.
- Support project managers on generating status reports and analysis reports on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Extensive skill in Business Analysis with payments domain experience.
- Experience in Payments module of Core banking systems and ability to handle the complete payment life cycle in banking.
- Ability to work within an agile environment, with a good knowledge of project management techniques, a alytical tools and processes
- Ability to juggle priorities and work under pressure
- Background in a bank, payments solutions provider or other fast-paced/complex environment essential
- Strong interpersonal skills as expected for dealing with an important client base
