Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced DV Cleared Network Engineer to join our team in London. This role involves sustaining and automating key infrastructure systems. You will be assigned task packages on a 10-week cadence, drawn from a backlog of deliverables and aligned with the organisational-wide I planning cadences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sustain and automate critical network infrastructure systems.
- Configure and manage multicast network flows, switching, routing, and load balancing.
- Ensure high availability (HA) and performance of network systems.
- Design and monitor networks to maintain optimal operation.
- Implement automation practices using Python or event-triggering mechanisms.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Networking: Expertise in configuring multicast network flows, switching, routing, and load balancing.
- High Availability: Proven experience in ensuring network HA.
- Network Design & Monitoring: Strong skills in the design and continuous monitoring of network systems.
- Automation: Proficiency in automation practices using Python or event-triggering.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to a structured 10-week task cadence.
