Mortgage Team Manager (Post /Pre completion)
Based in Hertfordshire - WFH until further notice - 3 days in office when restrictions lifted

To manage the daily mortgage operations function to support the delivery of our client's growth, service quality, risk management and regulatory compliance objectives.
Day to day management of the Mortgage Servicing Team, which is responsible for:
Supporting the Underwriters and Brokers with all pre-completion activity to ensure compliant and timely completion of new applications;
All aspects of post-completion loan servicing;
Arrears management, collections and forbearance.
Management of a high performing team to include monthly 1-2-1, recruitment, training and development.
Responsibility to document and maintain Procedures and Processes which ensure good customer experience, operational efficiency and compliance with all relevant laws / regulations / guidance (e.g. MCOBs and Vulnerable Customers etc.).
Champion change, automation and continuous improvement.
Authorisation of post contract variations and funds release within relevant mandates.
To act as deputy for the Mortgage Operations Manager.
Management of Risk and Incidents.
Quality Assurance monitoring and management.
Manage, review and monitor compliance with the Training & Competency scheme.
Production of Management Information and attendance at relevant Committees.
Any other related duties as directed by the Mortgage Operations Manager or Director of Customer Operations.
Excellent people management skills.
A mortgage lending background, ideally with experience of the full mortgage lending lifecycle highly desirable.
Good level of understanding of mortgage lending regulation and mortgage market
Experience of arrears and forbearance within a secured mortgage lending environment desirable.
