Job Description:
As a Mendix developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web and mobile applications using the Mendix low-code platform. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create efficient, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. You'll leverage your expertise in Mendix development to deliver high-quality applications that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Application Development:
- Design and develop Mendix applications using visual modeling tools.
- Create logic flows (microflows) to implement business processes.
- Customize user interfaces, widgets, and layouts.
Integration:
- Integrate Mendix applications with existing systems, databases, and APIs.
- Ensure seamless data exchange between different components.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and testing.
Quality Assurance:
- Write unit tests and perform debugging to identify and fix issues.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.
Documentation:
- Document technical specifications, architecture, and design decisions.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Mendix development (certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
