Key responsibilities:
- Prioritise and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle
- Write well-designed, efficient code based on feature specifications and testable code
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Design database architecture
- Test and debug Java applications
Required skills or experience:
- Hands-on experience with programming in Java
- Interest in agile methodologies
- Software Engineer or Software Developer experience
- Experience designing interactive applications
- Experience with test-driven development
- Advanced knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC
- Knowledge of any of Docker, Kubernetes, Message Brokers: RabbitMQ/Kafka
- Spring Boot
- Microservice Architecture
The technology and tools you will be using:
- Tools: Helm, Git, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Postman, Clubhouse and Miro
- Platform: Kubernetes, AWS, Oracle
- Tech Stack: Java, Spring, Microservices, REST Api, TDD, (Cloud desirable; AWS, Rabbit MQ or Kafka and Kubernetes)
