The location of the role is London (hybrid remote working).

The duration of the contract is 6 months.

The pay rate on offer is £500 - £550 per day.

The client is an iconic, multinational high-street retailer.

Clothing and Home FP&A is a high-profile team working closely with teams across the whole business, including Strategy, Transformation and Finance.

We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the FP&A team. The Finance Manager will support the team in setting up the Clothing and Home transformation structure and associated.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to take a pivotal role in coordinating and steering the delivery of the Clothing and Home transformation.

Key accountabilities and measures

  • Acting as the central point of contact for the 8+ change programmes contributing to the Clothing & Home transformation portfolio
  • Responsible for helping to establish the tracking and reporting of the Clothing & Home transformation portfolio
  • Responsible for establishing financial and non-financials metrics, reporting and providing insight to the Clothing & Home Leadership team on performance and delivery against the overall transformation plan
  • Working closely with both the Clothing & Home Transformation office and directly with the Transformation Programmes impacting Clothing & Home
  • Lead on creating/updating best practice for ways of working, including process, engagement and templates
  • Lead of creating robust and transparent PIR process including feedback and learnings
  • Working closely with the Financial Reporting and Analytics team to create the mechanism to track benefits and costs, leveraging our existing systems capability and creating a tool to efficiently capture and track the relevant data
  • Ad hoc project work where required

Key skills

  • Qualified accountant with several years PQE in a change and transformation environment
  • Commercial awareness to add challenge and insight KPI's and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills to enable business partnering of Finance colleagues and non-financial colleagues
  • Confidence to present to, and form, relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Advanced excel capabilities and good PowerPoint skills
  • Proactive self-starter with collaborative approach, with natural style that builds strong network with colleagues across Clothing & Home, Food and International
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, and a drive for continuous improvement: implementing or overseeing changes to processes which improve efficiency and outputs
