Engineering Technician - Test Rigs


Position Summary
Under general direction, performs technical support to assist the Engineering function. Performs routine engineering and developmental tests, troubleshoots systems, and screens and analyses data.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Job Duty

  • Provides support to the Engineering function, performing routine engineering and developmental tests, troubleshooting systems, and screening and analyzing data. May perform work with electronics, electro-mechanical systems, carbon composites, instrumentation, systems, software quality, and V&V, among others

  • Provides data, information, and support to Engineering teams, maintaining and utilizing spreadsheets and databases to perform data screening and analysis

  • Assists with tasks to accomplish engineering business improvement objectives

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
