My leading client is looking for a Dynamics Application Support Analyst to provide hands on technical expertise to maintain, support and develop the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application. You will be working closely with Business stakeholders and play a key part in driving process and system improvements in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application. This will include managing projects to deliver change where appropriate. The individual will ensure that the application is maintained and will act as the primary support person for the application.

Key Skills

  • Ideally solid commercial experience of Microsoft Dynamics Nav / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (logistics, finance, advanced warehouse management).
  • General understanding of accounting and operations processes and how they relate to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Experience using Jet Reports.
  • Experience using Power BI data sources and reporting.
  • Experience of managing projects using a recognised project management methodology.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong customer service ethos.
  • Ability to work well with people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Subject Matter Expert for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application.
  • Primary administrator of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application.
  • Supports the Business in the development of change requests, including business cases, required within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application.
  • Acts as the technical gate-keeper regarding any proposed changes to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application.
  • Proactively works with the Business to improve existing processes and increase the utilisation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application.
  • Project Management of approved projects related to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application.
  • Configure the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application in cooperation with key business stakeholders to reflect and facilitate established business processes, financial and operations requirements and system goals.
  • Management of users, user groups, profiles and user permissions within the Business Central application in line with best practise.
  • Provides 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to Users.
