Role Title: Datadog Architect
Duration: 2 Months
Location: Weybridge (Surrey) - Onsite with some home working
Rate: £500 Per day - Umbrella only

Role purpose / summary
Senior practitioner - Excellent standard of English and ability to travel/ work in UK
Good technical writing skills
Datadog Strategy:
Define and publish tagging conventions within Datadog
Platform Configuration:
Help implement tagging conventions in Datadog
Establish FinOps and RBAC
Set up Integrations - traverse issues over "ownership"
Carry out a Datadog "Audit" and Health Check, followed by remediation/ reconfiguration work
Produce Dashboards/ monitoring practices
Enablement:
Carry out training sessions / workshops where needed, 1-2-1 or group sessions
Produce training materials/ documentation
Produce Dashboards (single dashboard per service)
Coverage:
Determine where other capabilities are missing and help to implement (e.g cost data)
Determine where data coverage is weak (APM, Serverless etc) and assist rollout
Evaluate new capabilities around cloud costs and infrastructure security
Sponsor complete integration and required "observability scorecards"
One off Projects:
Service Now/ Jira Integration
Build key integrations for streamlining IM
Define "failure" and integrate into Datadog for complete DORA metrics
