Customer Fulfilment Specialist
£16.20 per hour PAYE
Rugby, UK
9-12 Month Contract

Our client is currently looking for an experienced customer service professional to join their team in Rugby. Within this role you would be the primary point of contact for our clients' customers. You would be working in the Parts Fulfilment team to provide End-to-End service to the business including quoting, planning, and executing, using SAP/ERP system to create offers and orders.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for total ownership of Order documents with regard to accuracy, clarity, quality, and timelines.
  • Must strive to meet all Customer request dates, reduce processing cycles and keep backlog of orders to a minimum.
  • Provide factory/sourcing commitments with regard to short cycle demands and documentation to Customers and GE representatives as appropriate.
  • Understand all Customer Special Requirements, communicate to and follow up with those responsible for all accurate and complete fulfilment.
  • Manage and administer all fulfilment related exporting activities including documents creation, shipment tracking, and sales recognition and all necessary document archiving function.
  • Key contact for customer inquiries, customer complaint (issue) resolution process. Work with operations to understand and communicate commits and status to customers.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consult's supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.


Skills / Experience:

  • College or university degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years work experience in the Customer Service
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to perform in a team environment
  • Self-starter, capable of working with minimum supervision
  • Proficiency and experience working in SAP/ERP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer service mind-set
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Technical degree and familiarity with the Energy Industry
  • Prior experience in a customer service position is preferred
