Business Readiness Lead

We are actively looking to secure a Business Readiness Lead to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

The Role
This specific role will focus on our business readiness and change function activities and support the business and programme to adopt our new systems and processes.
Activities as part of the role will include engaging stakeholders and supporting the process and other matrix team to deliver. You will need to be flexible, hands on and have good stakeholder engagement skills to help get the client business ready to use our new systems and processes.
You will be supported by an experienced business delivery lead, you will need to develop business partnerships to ensure delivery is the priority. You'll need to be able to think ahead, pre-empt requirements for key meetings, and drive the preparation for these. You'll also hold the pen on internal project meetings.
This role requires a hands-on business focus to managing and delivering the MFB project. Senior stakeholder engagement will be required in the programme and with the business.
What I'll be doing - your accountabilities

  • Supporting all levels of change activity and business readiness on the Core UK (Subledger) phase of the programme for a single or multiple units.
  • Have a hands-on approach to business engagement working with business partners to deliver and report on their plans alongside programme activities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Transformation leads and SMEs as applicable to ensure the delivery of the change.
  • Championing the change by driving best practice and consistency
  • Providing insight on progress to the leadership actively troubleshooting where we need more focus to deliver.
  • Ability to build relationships and work with large functional and matrix teams, possibly in different locations
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal across stakeholder groups
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges holding people to account where necessary


  • Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels and across varying functions of the organisation.

  • Knowledge of client business and values
  • Project management skills or qualifications
  • SAP4/Hana knowledge
  • Change management and/or business readiness experience
